About Michael McGoff
Michael McGoff has an active litigation practice with primary focus on business advice, business disputes, real estate litigation (including quiet title, easement disputes, and title insurance claims); construction law; landlord / tenant law; and personal injury claims.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Mike is an Honors College graduate of the University of Georgia, with a B.A. in economics, cum laude (1982) and he earned his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law (1985). He is admitted to practice in all state courts of Georgia, including the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. At the Federal level, Mike has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia; the U.S. District Court of Kansas; the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; and, the Supreme Court of the United States. Mike is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and the North Fulton Bar Association. He has also earned the AV Pre-eminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell. This prestigious rating indicates that opposing counsel and Judges regard Mike as having the highest degree of ethics and legal abilities. He has also been an assistant Scoutmaster and adult volunteer in BSA and has coached the Chattahoochee High School Mock Trial program. Mike and his family live in Johns Creek
